Japan-based Shimadzu Corporation, which is celebrating its 40 years of collaboration with Toshvin Analytical, has launched its new gas chromotograph mass spectrometer `GCMS QP 2010 Ultra' in the country recently.
The 40th anniversary of the partnership between the two companies was celebrated with customer appreciation events in Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad recently in the presence of Osamu Ando, the director of Shimadzu, Japan and a host of top officials from both the companies in Asia Pacific region. The partnership began in 1970 and has established Shimadzu as one of the leading analytical instruments brand in the country.
"The partnership has helped Shimadzu emerge as a leading brand in the domestic market. India is an extremely important market for the company and we remain committed to working closely with Toshvin and other partners to support the customers here," Ando said.
"We are committed to supporting and partnering with our customers as they take India to greater heights in the areas of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, scientific research and academia," Toshvin managing director Nakul Toshniwal said, while appreciating the support of the customers to make the collaboration successful.
The new GCMS has the highest sensitivity and scan speed in its class of single quadrupole GCMS systems. Incorporating the latest technology and market leading specifications, it has innovative technology for high throughput and critical analysis, manager of Shimadzu Application Development Centre, Kyoto, K Nakagawa said in his technical presentation on the new product. The new GCMS will be available for the customers from August in the country.
