SIES College to organise 2-day meet on emerging trends in pharma management from Aug 23 in Mumbai

SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) is organising an international conference on emerging trends in pharma management from August 23 to 24, 2010 at SIESCOMS, Nerul. The international conference termed as ‘knowledge sharing stage', is aimed at providing a unique opportunity for key stakeholders to discuss the current developments in pharmaceutical market. This two-day conference aims at focusing on the progress made by pharma companies to provide safe, innovative and accessible medicines to patients. This conference will try to explore relative merits and weaknesses of the pharma companies and how to move the same in the future. The event aims at encouraging the academicians and research professional to contribute new ideas, concepts for the further development of the industry. The conference is expected to be attended by researchers from different parts of the country and more than 39 papers on different aspects of pharmaceutical management and how it could affect the society are expected to be presented and discussed. The event would be inaugurated by chief guest Deepak Naik, MD, EISAI Pharmaceutical, a Japanese company. The conference plans to focus on many untouched segments of pharmaceutical sector like e-commerce, retailing, marketing, research, brand management, sales management, distribution and contract management etc. The event will showcase the importance of mobile technology, which could be a great boon for medical health personnel but, their application is still in infancy stage in India.
