National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT-Hyderabad) jointly will organise a workshop entitled - 'drug discovery, design, development, delivery and preclinical studies on 8th & 9th October, 2010.
The workshop is designed in a series of three modules and each module is with duration of two days. Module-1 is about drug discovery and development overview, scheduled on 8th & 9th October, 2010. Module-2 is about dosage form development and NDDS (emerging technologies), scheduled on 12th & 13th November, 2010 and Module-3 is about preclinical phase and toxicology evaluation (GLP), scheduled on 26th & 27th November, 2010.
Aim of the workshop is to bring the academia and industry in a common platform to discuss the current advances in drug discovery and development. The target audience includes: Industry, research scholars and students, Faculty from academic institutions and research centres. The workshop methodology includes: Lectures, panel discussions, demonstrations and hands-on-work assignments for the participants with eminent personalities from the academia & industry such as IICT, NIPER, National Insititute of Nutrition, Institute of Life Sciences, Novartis Healthcare Pvt Ltd, GVK Bio-sciences, NATCO Research Centre, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Aurigene Labs, Incogen Therapeutics.
Limited seats are available and it's purely first come first serve basis. Anticipated participants are any graduates from science/pharmacy or allied fields. Attending one or two modules shall be given "Participation Certificate" and attending all the three modules shall be given "Course Certificate".
