Teleradiology Solutions inks pact with Maldives’ Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital

Teleradiology Solutions, a provider of speciality services to hospitals, has entered into an agreement with Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Maldives. to provide timely and quality reporting of patient CT scans and other diagnostic tests to the patients on the island.

With  275 beds, IGMH was set up in 1995 as an acute tertiary care public referral hospital in the Maldives. This association will enable the hospital to improve service delivery and quality of care with the aim to provide pleasant experience to any one seeking services at IGMH.

Teleradiology Solutions set up in  2002 provides teleradiology services to hospitals in Singapore and India with other countries on the anvil. It  is accredited by the US Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). It is also the first organization outside Singapore to be accredited by the Ministry of Health, Singapore.  The company provides teleradiology services to hospitals around the globe, which includes interpretation of all non-invasive imaging studies, namely CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine studies and digitized X-rays. Further it also offer  subspecialty consultations in cardiovascular and oncologic imaging to hospitals in India as well, and has joint research partnerships with major technology vendors such as GE, to explore new techniques in 3D imaging analysis.

IGMH is  known for its  clinical specialisations like internal medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, neurology and  cardiology, The  Maldivian government has continuously upgraded its  facilities adding more services including CT scanning facilities, haemo-dialysis services and expanded diagnostic capacity of its clinical laboratory services.
