Manipal Health Enterprises to invest Rs.150 cr to expand its Cure & Care Clinics

Manipal Health Enterprises has announced its strategy to increase its foot print nationally through its Manipal Cure & Care Clinics (MCC). It is looking to invest between Rs.100 crore to Rs.150 crore to explore opportunities to expand in other Indian cities, through direct investment. The company plans to set up 30 MCC in the next 2 to 3 yeaRs.The move is in line with our growth strategy and we are looking to bring back the extinct concept of Family Physicians. These dedicated clinics will further accelerate its market penetration and reach, resulting in people making fewer visits to the hospital for minor ailments. These clinics are bound to be successful since it is about convenience at your doorstep. It will offer a range of world-class healthcare preventive, curative, wellness and beauty services under one roof, driven by healthcare professionals, said Rajen Padukone, CEO, Manipal Health Enterprises. “We are looking forward to reintroduce the erstwhile ‘Family Physician’ in the friendly neighbourhood clinic, where an individual could get medical care at nearby polyclinic.
