Novation is the leading supply chain management company in healthcare, managing more than $17 billion in annual purchases for more than 2,300 VHA Inc and University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) members and their affiliates. In addition to the Diagnostic Imaging Council, Novation surveyed VHA and UHC directors of radiology and materials management to gain member input. Hologic's Fluoroscan division is a leading provider of mini C-arm imaging system for extremity orthopedic applications. Their systems offer feature enhancements that include a laser alignment tool, expanded digital memory, and office friendly image transfer. Commenting on the agreement, Jack W. Cumming, President and CEO of Hologic said, "We are pleased to enter into this new agreement with Novation and to build upon the agreements already in place covering our bone densitometry, Direct Radiography, and mammography equipment.
