Divi's Laboratories has posted impressive performance during the third quarter ended December 2010. Its consolidated net profit increased by 45.1 per cent to Rs.98.42 crore from Rs.67.84 crore in the corresponding period of last year. The EBDITA increased by 38 per cent to Rs.127.20 crore from Rs.92.16 crore. The net sales went up by 57.8 per cent to Rs.309.69 crore from Rs.196.31 crore. With smart improvement in profits, its EPS moved up to Rs.7.44 from Rs.5.21 in the last period.
For the nine months ended December 2010, Divi's Labs' net sales increased by 32 per cent to Rs.828.50 crore from Rs.627.48 crore and its net profit up by 20.4 per cent to Rs.254.08 crore from Rs.210.96 crore. Its consolidated figures includes results of the subsidiaries Divis Laboratories (USA), Inc., and Divi's Laboratories Europe AG.
The company is now setting up a project called 'DSN SEZ Unit' at Visakhapatnam with an estimated cost of Rs.200 crore.
