Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) is organizing a one day seminar–cum-interactive session on ‘export promotion’ for the pharma manufacturers and exporters of West Bengal on June 3 in Kolkata.
The seminar will help the eastern and north-eastern exporters and manufacturers of pharmaceutical products to explore solutions to their export related issues. The program will see participations from small, medium and big manufacturing units and export companies. The sessions in the seminar will include ‘Brand India Promotion’, Financing Solutions, Bar Coding for pharma Exports and Export Opportunities, said P V Appaji, executive director, Pharmexcil.
Jai Prakash, Commissioner of Customs, West Bengal will deliver the keynote address, followed by a speech by P Halder, joint director of GFT, Kolkata.
The state drugs controller, Dr Chintamoni Ghosh and Deputy Drugs Controller, CDSCO, Kolkata, Dr V G Somani will be the guests of honour in the seminar. Rubina Bose, ADC, CDSCO, east zone will also address the exporters.
Ashutosh Gupta, Medcamen Biotech, New Delhi and COA Member, Pharmexcil, Nipun Jain, chairman, SME Panel, Pharmexcil, Bhavin Mehtha, Kilitch Drugs Mumbai and COA Member of Pharmexcil, Abhay Kumar Sinha, assistant regional director, Pharmexcil will deliver a speech on brand India promotion, financing solutions, bar code and export opportunities respectively.
Later on, the exporters will interact with the customs commissioner, Joint director, DGFT and the regulatory officials.
Dr P V Appaji, executive director of Pharmexcil will co-ordinate the programme.
