Hamdard University & IIT to organise 4-day conference on Healthcare from Feb 20 in Delhi

Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard University, New Delhi and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is organising a four-day symposium on APA International Congress on advances in human healthcare systems 'Healthcare India 2012' from February 20 to 23, 2012 in Delhi. The symposia is beneficial for experts, executives and business owners from the healthcare field.

The event is being organized under the leadership of Asian Polymer Association (APA). The Congress involves a very innovative domains of polymeric materials, pharmaceutical sciences and biomedical applications' along with microsymposiums on three areas of nanotechnology, tissue engineering and innovations in polymer industry. This Congress is proposed to exchange information on new dimensions in healthcare systems and would address the healthcare priorities as well as would help in formulating the action plan to face the challenges ahead in biomedical technology.

The Congress on healthcare offers a very focused platform for the stakeholders to discuss, analyse and bring out policy and joint working groups in these areas and the highlights of the event are innovations in polymer industry, tissue engineering: a reality in healthcare systems, nanotechnology: vision and perspectives.

Ltd, New Delhi on the promise and impact of a thermostable vaccine, Dr Mukesh Hariawala, Harvard Group of Hospitals, USA on stem cells, angiogenesis and myogenesis: novel clinical cellular therapies for the failing heart, Dr Sudershan Arora, president, Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, Gurgaon on discovery and development of Synriam (Rbx 11160) an antimalarial drug product and Prof. Javed Iqbal, director, Institute of Life Sciences, Hyderabad on AMP-activated Protein Kinase: A next generation target for total metabolic control.
