Commenting upon his appointment as the president, Manish Doshi said, “It is a matter of honour and responsibility to assume the position of president of an organization as significant as IDMA. There are a lot of challenges ahead for the Indian pharma industry, which need to be managed with utmost integrity.”

“IDMA will work towards ensuring that the government policies shape up considering the ethos of the Indian industry. A strong and able pharma industry will keep the health of the nation strong and secure. Pharma Pricing is an important point on which IDMA will be in constant dialogue with the government. In my tenure, I would also like to stress upon the importance of ‘innovation’ to my member companies. The small and medium companies should be innovative, bring in more quality in manufacturing and research,” Doshi said.
