PES College of Pharmacy organises Aspiration 2012 at Bengaluru

PES College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru recently organised 10th edition of Aspiration 2012 at Dr MRD auditorium, PESIT, Hosakerehalli. This 10th edition was inaugurated by Sandalwood iconic director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, chief guest, and eminent industrialists Dr V S Reddy, MD, British Biologicals, Dr Muhammed Majeed, founder, Sami Labs Ltd etc.

Dr M R Doreswamy, founder secretary, PES Institutions and Prof. Dr S Mohan, principal and director of PES College of Pharmacy joined them on the occasion.

Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, addressed the gathering in Kannada, so as to uphold the native wisdom. In his speech, he lauded Dr MR Doreswamy for his social concern and services. He quoted life is too short and precious which has only one entry and one exit. There is no question of replay and rewind. Hence, he called upon all the students to use their energy to the fullest to achieve their goals. He also mentioned that the time is flying very fast; we need to keep ticking with the clock. In the present competitive environ, we need to use a ladder beyond the sky to fulfill our ambition, He appealed to all the students not to forget their roots and to uphold diversity of Indian culture. On this prestigious eve of cultural carnival Nagathihalli, requested all the students to help the downtrodden and not to be cynic and frustrated while pushing the wheels of our country which is currently stuck in corruption.

Dr MR Doreswamy, admired the tolerance and spirit of students for having accepted the deliberation of Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar in Kannada and called him as the cultural ambassador for his quality work. In his presidential address, he explained the very purpose of Aspiration is to tap and nurture the potentialities of the student community. He reiterated the role of a true teacher is to identify the talent and encourage them to achieve zenith of their goals. After having felicitated academic achievers, he quoted that the knowledged person is recognized irrespective of his background. At this juncture, he was very proud to mention that the 30 per cent of young talented population in aboard hails from India. He concluded his talk by wishing all the students the very best and to go out with the ISI mark of PES i.e., quality.

Dr S Mohan, principal and director, PES College of Pharmacy in his welcome speech appreciated Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar for his capacity in tapping the talents from Tom, Dick and Harry. He appreciated Dr V S Reddy and Dr Muhammed Majeed as trained blazers and Dr M R Doreswamy as a fearless visionary.

The Aspiration 2012 witnesses the best talents from various pharmacy colleges across the country in a variety of hi-octane performance.
