Pharmexcil to organize meet on exports for Baddi region on July 20

Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) is organizing a seminar on the opportunities and procedures for pharma export, at Baddi on July 20.

This is for the first time that the Pharmexcil is holding the meet for the pharma companies at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, one of the key industry hubs in North India.

The interactions will mainly focus on the export opportunities for small and medium scale companies, WHO GMP Certification, DGFT, Customs & Central Excise Procedures for Pharma Exports, finance for SMEs, update on Export Credit Guarantee and MDA/MAI Schemes.

Senior official from the government departments concerned will also attend the seminar to brief the industry on the development and procedures, besides addressing the issues and concerns of the industry.

A meeting of the senior executives of the pharma companies in the region is also being held, ahead of the seminar, to discuss the issues facing the industry and chalk out corrective measures.
