The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is organising a three-day workshop on Drug Development: Conceptualisation to Commercialisation (D2 @ C2). This workshop is designed as three modules and each module of three days duration, over a period starting from August 30, 2012 to October 20, 2012 at NIPER.
The main objective of the workshop is to build and enhance knowledge and skills of students and professionals working or intending to work in drug discovery, development and commercialization, to train professionals catering to the needs of pharmaceutical industry and to provide an opportunity to interact with experts from the field of drug discovery & development.
This symposia is supported by Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India. This initiative is also supported by Novartis, Hyderabad.
In module 1 students will get to learn drug discovery, pre-clinical and clinical which will be conducted from August 30- September 1, 2012. medical writing, regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance are in module 2 from September 27-29, 2012. Product development, analytical, IPR & marketing will be in module 3 from Oct 18-20, 2012. All the three modules will be conducted at NIPER and each workshop module has both theory and hands on experience or demonstration.
The workshop is organised for any graduate from science/pharmacy or allied fields and for the students willing to get into the field of drug discovery or for the professionals wanting to change career within the industry/academia in industry and academia requiring comprehensive training in drug discovery.
The workshop has invited lectures by eminent scientists/professors from industry/academia in the field of drug discovery, development and commercialization.
