Metoprolol ER tablets was approved by the United States Food & Drug Administration (US FDA) in August 2012.
The Toprol-XL brand and generic had US sales of approximately $1.13 billion for the most recent twelve months ending June 2012 according to IMS Health.
Dr Reddy’s Metoprolol Succinate ER tablets in 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg are available in bottle counts of 100 and 500.
