Green Chem, an export oriented unit manufacturing herbal extracts for nutraceuticals, has bagged the Pharmexcil Herbal Patents National Award 2011-12 for the fourth consecutive year.
The award was presented to Green Chem by N R Munjal, chairman, Pharmexcil and Dr Appaji, director general, Pharmexcil at the India-Asia Pacific Business Meet held at Hyderabad recently. The company has been continuing to win the same from 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11.
The company’s product range has over 150 products, primarily for slimming, sugar control, joint pain relieving, cholesterol reducing, female libido increasing, male libido increasing, improving blood circulation, wound healing, skin care, improving digestion, natural vitamins supplement, natural minerals supplement, antioxidant and memory power improving. It also has an Organic farm for cultivation of all key herbs.
In July this year, the company had announced its Rs.9 crore investment to expand its manufacturing facility and corporate office. The expansion was necessitated in the wake of growing demand for its products. It is also engaged in exports to USA, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, Korea, South Africa, Canada, Germany, Austria, Norway, China and others.
