DIA India’s annual conference on 'Discovery through Commercialization' to be held at Hyderabad from Nov 1-4, 2012

DIA, the premier organization dedicated to knowledge exchange that fosters innovation to raise the level of health and well-being worldwide, will host DIA India’s 7th Annual Conference on 'Discovery through Commercialization: Innovative Strategies for Individualized Healthcare' at Hyderabad International Convention Center, Novotel in Hyderabad, from November 1 to 4, 2012.

 As the healthcare industry evolves new methods, and standards are being developed, this conference will focus on the discovery, development, manufacturing and commercialization to generate ground-breaking approaches to personalized healthcare.

Keynote speakers include Paul Huckle, senior vice president, global regulatory affairs, GlaxoSmithKline and Adrian McKemey, Practice Leader - Product Development & Commercialization, US, Quintiles Consulting.

Attendees can hear presenters at sessions within several conference tracks such as:  drug discovery, manufacturing, lean strategy, commercialization, technology and standards, regulatory & ethical issues, social and legal issues, and tutorials on bioinformatics and personalized medicine.

The conference will address the strategy for drug discovery and clinical development pipeline and faster time to market in the era of blockbuster patent expiries and issues of integrating and streamlining data flows across the entire life cycle of the molecule, and the standardization and rigour that needs to be implemented. Further, it will also stress upon the ethical, legal, social and regulatory and financial and investment challenges impacting all of the above and how processes and technology will need to be upgraded to support the same.
