Laurus wins Best Exhibitor award under BioContent & Information category at B’lore India Bio 2013

Laurus Infosystems has won the Best Exhibitor award in the category of BioContent & Information during the Bangalore India Bio 2013.

The company is a global provider of software solutions to the Life Sciences industries participated in this event promoting Chemia, a cost effective laboratory notebook for research and development labs. By winning this award, Laurus Infosystems beat around 100 other exhibitors and was presented with a Best Exhibitor award for BioContent & Information, stated a company release.

The jury was particularly impressed with the way the content around Chemia was organised and how customers were informed, stated the company.

Chemia is a cost effective electronic laboratory Notebook solution that was developed in collaboration with senior scientists of Laurus Labs to assists chemists and other scientists in R&D labs to keep their research and analysis records in an electronic format. By implementing Chemia, R&D labs save costs and valuable research time as their data is structured and stored in a central database, which can be searched for previous projects and experiments. Furthermore, experiments can be cloned and reused for similar experiments, without the need of re-documenting the entire process, said the company.
