Lilavati Hospital wins Best Multi Specialty Hospital of the Year award

Lilavati Hospital has been conferred with 'Best Multi Specialty Hospital of the Year' & 'No. 1 Metro City Hospital' by India Healthcare Awards at a recently held ceremony in New Delhi. The award was presented by Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman - Planning Commission, Govt. of India.

India Healthcare Awards has become the benchmark for recognising the best healthcare facilities in India and the short listing of firms for the final round was based on a robust multi-phase methodology by IMRB, India's leading research agency.

Doctors associated with the Hospital are specialised doctors in the country and provides best health care options to all sections of society. The Hospital recently acquired SOMATOM Definition Flash world's safest and fastest CT scanner. It was the first hospital in western zone to possess this state of the art technology and only second in the whole of India.

The social service department of Lilavati Hospital, SEWA serves the health needs of the less privileged irrespective of class, caste or religion. SEWA conducts various free health checkups at different locations within Mumbai and in other cities. SEWA also helps deserving patients receive free medical and surgical services including expensive procedures like CABG, Valve replacement, Cancer and Orthopaedic surgeries. A Free Out Patients Department (OPD) is also set up by SEWA to bring super-specialty health care to those traumatized by ill health and unable to afford quality medical treatment.
