Wockhardt Hospitals, Goa was recently certified with National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) accreditation, the highest national recognition and a mark of quality patient care and safety. This makes Wockhardt Hospitals, Goa the first hospital to be accredited in the state.
With this recognition, Wockhardt Hospitals has received their 5th NABH accreditation, making them the only hospital group with the highest accreditations in the west zone. The NABH accreditation is based on evaluation of hospitals against 100 standards and 503 objective elements. NABH is an institutional member of International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) as well as member of ISQua Accreditation Council. NABH standards for hospitals have been accredited by ISQua, thus hospitals accredited by NABH will have international recognition.

With this accreditation, The Wockhardt Institute of Aesthetics at Goa also became the first Institute of its kind in the country to be certified by NABH. The institute is known for its range of aesthetic surgeries and also for the fact that it is one of the first institutes that carries out such surgeries within a superspecialty hospital in a dedicated facility. It also has a substantial number of reconstructive surgeries that are carried out on patients with birth defects or trauma cases. The hospital offers the confidentiality and facilities required for carrying out aesthetic surgeries.
