Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital to organise 2-day national conference on pharmacy in Pune

The Maharashtra’s first Joint Commission International (JCI), USA and NABH Accredited Hospital, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Pune, are organising two-day national conference on pharmacy “ABMH-Pharma Con 2013” on September 21 and 22, 2013.

Rekha Dubey, COO, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital said, “ABMH- PharmaCon 2013 is a very good platform for all of us from the healthcare sector to review the Role of Pharmacists and identify their core responsibilities to make them effectively contribute into the quality delivery of healthcare. Such conferences provide healthcare professionals proactive measures to improve the patient care and safety. We feel other established healthcare institutions should also take up this sort of similar initiative to address the issues of patient medication and its efficacy to improve the overall quality of healthcare delivery in India.”

This conference will be highly academic and covering various aspects of pharmacist’s role like rational use of medicines, legal limitations and modalities of home delivery, e-medications, steps towards patient safety, the emerging threats and challenges of alcoholism, NDPS & Substance abuse in India and other roles of Pharmacist in management of data & analysis.

The two-day conference will witness more than 300 participants including speakers and delegates from renowned hospitals and pharma institutes across India.
