Jaipur based ayurvedic manufacturing company, Maharshi Badri Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd, wants to expand its footprints in the south by appointing stockists in Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi, according to B Aravind Kumar, general manager of the company.

Currently, the company is concentrating only on domestic marketing, but shortly the products will hit the international market along with the expansion. Around 300 varieties of classical ayurvedic products are manufactured and sold through 50 retail outlets in different parts of north India. The retail pharmacies owned and operated by the company are named ‘Ayurvedic Junction’.

The fast moving product of Maharshi Badri Pharma is ‘Femina’, a hundred percent ayurvedic formulation for women’s health.

While speaking to Pharmabiz, the general manager said the company will appoint each distributor for each southern state. First preference is given for Kerala, the hub of Ayurveda. We will appoint regional managers, stockists and field staffs also. Another project in the pipeline is to start OTC and FMCG Division all over India, said Aravind while visiting at the Ayush trade expo in Thrissur.

“Our product range includes men's health, women's health, child care, general health care, skin care, hair care and also for aids & cancer. Our research & development wing is simultaneously working for new products development, quality control and standardization. All our products are derived through rigorous research and produced in state of the art facilities. We believe that the ideal health care system lies in the synergy between Ayurveda and modern science”, he said.
