The ‘Indian of the year 2014’ award was presented last week in Mumbai . Accepting the award, Dr Mukesh Batra, said, “The award recognises the importance of a sound mind in an able body.  Good health is wealth.  Among various systems of medicine that enable good health, homoeopathy is one of the fastest growing, as more and more people are turning to safer and holistic treatment options.  This award signifies the challenging yet fulfilling journey that I had, to popularise homoeopathy through our clinics in India and abroad.”

Despite having received an array of awards and honours, Dr Mukesh Batra is a man who is still rooted in his moorings.  Beginning as a modest clinic in Mumbai in 1982, Dr Batra’s Positive Health Clinic is today the world’s largest homeopathic healthcare corporate with 149 clinics spread across 76 cities in India, Dubai and London.
