National Seminar on pharma industry to be held on Dec19 in Hyderabad

Bulk Drug Manufacturing Association (BDMA) in coordination with Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Pharmexcil are planning to organise a National seminar on Pharmaceutical industry on 19th December in Hyderabad.

The seminar is expected to focus mainly on the various challenges being faced by Indian pharma industry. Speakers at the seminar are also expected to throw light on emerging global trends and opportunities and also advocate roadmap ahead to improve exports and explore newer markets for the industry.

The leading speakers from industry and consultancies are invited to deliberate on the topic opportunities and challenges faced by the Indian clinical trial industry. Eminent personalities are also expected to give presentations on R&D and innovation in the pharma sector.

Important speakers who will be taking part in the National Seminar include Susan Kling Finston, president of Finston Consulting, CEO and MD of Amrita Therapeutics Limited USA; Murlidharan Nair, partner E&Y from Mumbai, Dr Rakeshwar Bandichore, associate director R&D from Dr Reddy’s Laboratories in Hyderabad and others will share their knowledge and experiences at the seminar.

“The seminar is a very good platform for the industry members to discuss, deliberate and understand the current problems and opportunities available in the pharma industry. As lading corporate, multinational consultancies, investment banks and members from state and central government bodies are participating in the seminar, CXOs and senior management professions of the  pharma industry, academicians and financial institutions can attend this event to gain more knowledge and learn about available opportunities in the sector,” informed Dr P V Appaji, Director General Pharmexcil.
