US Anesthesia Partners, Inc announced a new partnership with Anesthesia Consultants of Dallas (“ACD”), a group of anesthesia providers serving the greater Dallas market.
ACD, founded in 1992, is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and the Texas Regional Medical Center. Its highly regarded anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists serve an additional 11 facilities, including 9 hospitals and two ambulatory surgery centres.
In connection with this new partnership, ACD will become integrated with Pinnacle Anesthesia, which serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Pinnacle Anesthesia is a founding partner of USAP along with Greater Houston Anesthesiology and JLR Medical Group in central Florida.
“We are pleased to partner with ACD, a high-quality practice that is well-positioned in the Dallas market,” said Kris Bratberg, chief executive officer of USAP. “This partnership strengthens USAP’s presence in the important, fast-growing North Texas region.”
USAP will invest in ACD’s infrastructure, positioning the practice for continued growth and success. ACD’s physician partners will maintain governance of their practice through representation on the Pinnacle Clinical Governance Board.
"Partnering with Pinnacle and USAP will facilitate our delivery of consistent, quality anesthesia service for our patients and facilities in the DFW market," said Dr. Larry Scott, managing partner of ACD. "We look forward to adding to Pinnacle's reputation for quality anesthesia care and utilising USAP's resources to help us meet the increasing demands of the hospital systems and payers we serve in our community."
“This is a unique opportunity for Pinnacle and ACD to come together to share resources,” said Dr. Scott Holliday, Chairman of Pinnacle’s Clinical Governance Board and a member of the Board of Directors for USAP. “Adding ACD to our practice in Dallas enhances our ability to provide the high quality anesthesia services that Dallas patients expect and deserve.”
