CPhI China returns with greater range of contents

China , which is one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in the world, is also a leading producer of pharmaceutical ingredients. The market is currently expanding at a double-digit rate, which is being driven by improvements in intellectual property protection and increased government support for R&D, alongside a gentrifying population, expanding medical coverage and growing exports. It's dynamic economy is forecast to reach a staggering $154 billion by 2018.

Over 2,800 exhibitors and 30,000 attendees from more than 100 countries will be participating in CPhI & P-MEC China. This event has expanded its show floor this year to 140,000 square metres, allowing for even more networking and learning opportunities.

An extensive programme of 80 plus conferences, summits and seminars will feature across the three-day event, including the 6th China World CEO Summit; 2015 Pharmaceutical R&D innovation and Outsourcing Management Conversation and 2nd BioPh China Summit 2015, to name just a few.

This year, the event celebrates a decade in partnership with P-MEC China and will co-locate with ICSE, BioPh, Innopack, LABWorld, Fi Asia China and Hi China. This eight-shows-in-one event brings China’s entire supply chain together in one location, with global suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, packaging solutions, machinery, manufacturing and more present.

In addition to ingredients, the show also features a Natural Extracts, Logistics, Finished Formulation, and Environmental Projections & Clean zones.

While P-MEC China covers machinery and equipment; ICSE China covers companies providing outsourcing services in custom synthesis and clinical trials; BioPh China is a dedicated platform for biopharmaceuticals and InnoPack, focuses on bringing global packaging solutions to the Chinese pharma companies.LABWorld China will be focusing on innovation and new developments, providing a forum for increased education and networking for businesses in the laboratory, analytical and biotech equipment sector.

It is the leading industry platform in Asia for supply chain and logistics decision makers, logistics service suppliers and all other industry stakeholders to meet, network and discuss latest industry trends, partnership models and new technologies in Asia.

In 2015, CPhI, ICSE & BioPh China teams up again to roll out the "CPhI Buyers Sourcing Event". The event is a purchase matching service, which brings renowned overseas buyers to meet suppliers from China, aiming to help suppliers establish relationship with international buyers, understand the international market and capture effective business opportunities. As one of the special events held annually on-site at CPhI, ICSE & BioPh China, Buyers Sourcing Event effectively draws buyers closer to suppliers through one-to-one and face-to-face meetings and drives both parties to close deals. And its mode of cutting cost by reducing intermediate links is recognized by more and more domestic and overseas buyers.

CPhI China along with its co-located events will be coordinating conferences which offers numerous opportunities to meet with influential speakers, senior executives and network on C-level. The conferences will be held in three days from June 23 to 25.

CPhI & P-MEC China will be having an increased Indian participation compared to last year, with even more Indian exhibitors looking to grow their business contacts and opportunities within the China pharma market. CPhI & P-MEC China 2014 was a great success, with over 2,540 companies exhibiting and more than 30,000 attendees over the three-day event. Of the exhibitors from the 2014 event, more than 1,500 enterprises applied for the 2015 exhibition - a rebooking rate of 70 per cent. This highlighted the attractiveness and recognition of the CPhI brand as the regional pharma hub.
