Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Apollo Hospitals Group, acquired Nova Specialty Hospitals in early 2015. Now, it is all-set to re-launch the facilities under the name of Apollo Spectra Hospitals. It will be approximately contribute 40 per cent of AHLL revenues in FY 2016. Current revenue stands around Rs.160 crore. Efforts to increase the number of centres from the current nine to 11 are on the cards.
Through this launch, AHLL would ensure that the patients get access to comprehensive, affordable and personalised quality healthcare. Spanning across 7 cities - Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur, Kanpur, Mumbai and Pune, Apollo Spectra Hospitals is ably supported by over 700 leading doctors who are known for their clinical excellence.
Commenting on the launch, Neeraj Garg, chief executive officer, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd. Said that the exclusive surgery center model of Apollo Spectra minimizes hospital acquired infections resulting in elimination of unnecessary hospitalization and remarkable medical outcomes.
According to Sudhir Diggikar, director (secondary care), Apollo Health and Lifestyle, Spectra endeavors to provide world-class treatment and is the only healthcare service provider equipped to undertake over 1100+ surgical procedures across all major specialties.
It will establish centres of excellence in orthopaedics, obesity, urology, MIS and ENT. It also offers specialized and comprehensive treatment for gynaecology, vascular surgery, paediatric surgery, gastroenterology (surgical and medical), endocrinology, plastic & cosmetic surgery, cardiology, dermatology, dental, ophthalmology and maxillofacial surgery.
