Sanofi India net moves up by 12% in Q2, interim dividend of 180%

Sanofi India has posted better financial performance during the second quarter ended June 2015 and its net profit moved up by 11.7 per cent to Rs.6.42 crore from Rs.5.75 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Its net sales improved by 5.6 per cent to Rs.514 crore from Rs.487 crore. The board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs.18 per share of Rs.10 each

The company is selling its commercial property located at Andheri East for a consideration of Rs.111 crore.  The transaction is expected to be completed in the quarter ending September 2015.

For the first half ended June 2015, Sanofi's net sales increased 7.4 per cent to Rs.974 crore from Rs.907 crore in the same period of last year. Its net profit improved 17.9 per cent to Rs.128.7 crore from Rs.109.2 crore. EPS worked out to Rs.55.90 as against Rs.47.44 in the last period.
