A three-day international conference, NanoSciTech 2016, is being hosted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh on the theme, “Improving Quality of Life using Nanotechnology: Potential Role of Polymers” from February 18-20, 2016.

The earlier biannual international conferences, NanoSciTech 2012 and NanoSciTech 2014, were phenomenally successful with more than 650 delegates participating from more than 12 countries in each event. On the heels of these previous NanoSciTech conferences, the proposed NanoSciTech 2016 would also endeavour to highlight multifaceted applications of nanotechnology, especially in pharmaceutical and biomedical domains.

The conference schedule encompasses plenary lectures and invited talks by eminent personalities, both from India and abroad, in addition to contributed papers, oral as well as poster. Abstracts should be submitted online on our website by November 30, 2015.

Pre-conference workshops are scheduled for candidates registered for NanoSciTech 2016 under the following titles:  Synthesis & characterization of nanomaterials and nanoparticles; Development lipid/polymerbased drug nanocarrier systems ; Quality by Design (QbD) for holistic development of nanomedicines ; Comprehensive cell biology characterization of nanostructure systems
