With a mission of providing quality healthcare for all, P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, one of India’s leading hospitals has organised the 3rd edition of Healthcare Management Series "Redefining Healthcare – Value Based Delivery".
The two-day conference which aimed to bring together all healthcare delivery providers under one roof to discuss healthcare trends, challenges and future was inaugurated by Usha Raheja, Board Member & Trustee, P. D. Hinduja Hospital and MRC. The conference comprised of 30 sessions by 52 industry stalwarts highlighting different aspects of healthcare delivery and saw participation from over 200 delegates across India.
Addressing the conference, chief guest Dr. Deepak Sawant, minister of public health and family welfare, government of Maharashtra said, “More hospitals and other players in healthcare sector should come forward to share, discuss and come up with suggestions to provide a more focused healthcare service. Forums like these are welcome as they set the stage for private and public players to work in synergy for the benefit of the patients.”

One of the most enthralling sessions of the series was the CEO Forum anchored by the renowned editor of CNBC TV18, A B Ravi. The esteemed panel of this forum included Gautam Khanna, CEO, P.D. Hinduja Hospital & MRC, Prashant Jhaveri, president, strategy at Medi Assist, Dr. Sudhir Naik, president, Association of Medical Consultants Mumbai Director Sree Guru Hospital & Oyster Hospital, Sushobhan Dasgupta, MD, J&J India & VP, Diabetes Care J&J Asia Pacific and Dr Girdhar J Gyani, director general, Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI). The discussions circled around defining healthcare by creating value and highlighted the current healthcare system, issues, challenges and the future of the Indian healthcare sector.

The conference brought together distinguished faculty from NABH, JCI, HSSC, AHPI, academic institutes like IIM, IIHMR, Symbiosis and P. D.
