EUSTM-2016 Congress to be held in Prague from Oct 17-20, 2016

The 4th annual Congress of European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM-2016) will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from October 17-20, 2016.

EUSTM-2016 to be organised by European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM) and Global Translational Medicine Consortium (GTMC) will discuss and showcase latest developments in specific areas of cellular and molecular biology, big data mining and omics sciences, biomarkers and molecular imaging, drug discovery and development, precision medicine and point of care diagnostics and disease modeling.

The conference will unite scientists, clinicians, world leaders and experts from research institutions, industry, regulatory agencies, policy makers, and governments. The conference will be co-chaired by Aamir Shahzad, president, EUSTM, Vienna in Austria, Thomas J. Goodwin, honorary president, EUSTM, Houston in USA, Randall J Cohrs, vice president, EUSTM, Denver, USA.

It will be addressed by Dr. Sinisa Dovat, a paediatric hematologist-oncologist in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA; Adriana Albini, past president of the Italian Society for Cancer Research (SIC), Milan, Italy; Roy Goodacre, a professor of biological chemistry at the University of Manchester in UK; Michael A. Schmidt, course director of the Clinical Genomics, Proteomics, and Metabolomics Programme, within the Integrative and Metabolic Medicine Programme at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, USA; Puthen Veettil Jithesh of Sidra Medical and Research Center, Doha, Qatar; Laurent Audoly, head of R&D of Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals; France among others.

EUSTM-2016 provides the key to future success in global healthcare by addressing current challenges and by highlight novel solutions. The conference represents a unique opportunity for global networking with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and service providers. Participants will also include practicing physicians with clinical experience in various therapeutic areas and members of patient organisations. Pharmaceutical and biotech industries, medtech and medical instruments companies, consultancy firms, clinical research organisations and data management companies will showcase and exhibit their products and services.

Abstracts will be published in the international peer reviewed journal, New Horizons in Translational Medicine (NHTM).

The annual meeting of GTMC Consortium networking will be held immediately following the EUSTM-2016 Congress on October 20, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. The aim of this annual meeting is to facilitate interactions and networking opportunities among consortium members. Consortium members will update the consortium with their expertise, capabilities and areas/projects where collaboration/partnership opportunities are available to other members.
