Health Careers & Hello partner to provide intl standard nursing & healthcare specific training in rural areas

Leading Australian healthcare education provider Health Careers, and Hello Health Services Pvt. Ltd, one of the largest multi-disciplinary healthcare organisations in India, have entered into a partnership to provide international standard nursing and healthcare specific training for people in rural areas, in local languages, and using the latest technology.

The Mumbai based Hello Health has presence in other cities including Bengaluru, Delhi and Lucknow.

Both organisations share a vision to develop greater opportunities for people in rural centres to enter the healthcare workforce the adopting the latest technologies and collaborative tools. The partnership highlights the growing relationship between Australia and India in training and education, and will enable both companies to scale up their operations toward achieving the vision of Skill India, to make India the skill capital of the world.

Commenting on the partnership, Bijo Kunnumpurath, CEO & MD, Health Careers noted that high quality education and training will be vital to improving the skills and capability of healthcare workers in India. “This partnership is of great importance to India, and Health Careers is proud to be working with Hello Health to train their future healthcare workforce,” he added.

According to Suvanjay Kr Sharma, CEO, Hello Health said, “The adoption of new technologies to redefine the provision of primary medical care in India will require a highly skilled workforce. Looking toward the vision of Skill India, which is to make India a global human resource sourcing hub for healthcare, we are pleased to be partnering with an organisation like Health Careers that will bring international standards to training in rural India.”

The partnership aims to raise the level of skills and capability of healthcare staff as they take up opportunities to become part the Hello Health team as the company expands further into rural areas of India, and also enable highly skilled healthcare professionals to take up global opportunities.

Health Careers’ training and education programs will be available through Hello Health training centres and virtual classrooms in Sant Kabir Nagar, Delhi in the first instance, and then in more than 17 rural centres during 2016/2017. Students will have access to learning resources and leading educators from around the world as they open new horizons in the health care sector in India.
