Buzz4health, a leading provider of mobile based content to medical professionals, is planning to introduce continuous medical education (CME) programme for nursing professionals by next year to help them deliver safe, evidence based, high quality care for patients.

“With an increase in healthcare facilities, there is huge demand for competent nursing workforce and also requirement for CME programme to hone nursing professionals' knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable them provide patients best care. Our CME programme will enable nurses to keep pace with nursing changes, patients change, and technology changes. It helps them keep updated on evidence-based practice,” said Hitesh Ganjoo, Founder and CEO, Buzz4health.

Healthcare is a shared responsibility wherein all stakeholders like medicos, clinical professionals as well as nurses play a crucial role in improving patients outcome. With a growing demand for nurses in India and abroad, the country has witnessed a significant rise in nursing education institutions in recent years, but there is hardly any CME programme for nursing professionals to help them keep updated about latest trend in their respective domain and cope up with day-to-day professional challenges, said Hitesh.

Since our nursing CME module is based on mobile app, nurses from the remotest areas in the country can access the programme. The participants have to clear questions listed at the end of each unit. The ones who clear questions will be allowed to take next unit, he added.

Buzz4health, a unique professional platform for doctors and medical students, which lets them collaborate through real medical cases and other continuous medical education content was established in March 2015 by Hitesh Ganjoo and Tushar Gupta, who previously worked with Stryker, a Fortune 500 Medical Technologies firm.

Buzz4health along with Dr. Poonam Malhotra Professor, Anaesthesia, CNC AIIMS Delhi, has also launched a unique fellowship programme in Cardiac Critical Care on its digital platform. So far more than 200 cardiac specialists have enrolled for the programme. Besides Dr Malhotra, a faculty of 10 doctors from Medanta, AIIMS, Max Hospitals, UK based University of Birmingham conduct the fellowship course on Buzz4health's digital platform.
