Chennai based Tamil Nadu Pharmaceutical Sciences Welfare Trust (Regd) will be celebrating its silver jubilee by giving emphasis to discussions on various areas of pharmacy profession, industry and trade on Saturday in Chennai.
The event will be attended by pharma industry captains, association leaders, academic experts, bureaucrats from health departments and department of pharmaceuticals. There will be seminars on various subjects related to pharma industry and profession, and finally a debate on issues in the pharma industry in Tamil language called “Pattimandram”.
The host associations include Tamil Nadu Indian Pharmacist Association Trust, TN IDMA, IPA Tamil Nadu, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.
The inaugural session will be chaired by the Welfare Trust chairman, SV Veeramani and the 25th celebration will be inaugurated by the former secretary of the department of pharmaceuticals, government of India, Dr. V K Subburaju.
Dr. J Radhakrishnan, secretary of health and family welfare, Tamil Nadu government, M M Yusuf, president, Tamil Nadu IPA, J Jayaseelan, secretary, Tamil Nadu IPA, N Sreenivasan, general secretary of the Welfare Trust, R. Thiruvenkadam and A Krishnadev will speak at the session.
