Digital health platform, MediFixit ties up with Dr Lal PathLabs for diagnostic services

With an aim to provide people home based diagnostic services, MediFixit, a provider of one stop online solution to all healthcare needs, has entered into a tie-up with a leading diagnostic chain, Dr Lal PathLabs. With this, 1800 diagnostic centres of Dr Lal PathLabs, spread across the country, will be available on MediFixit platform.

Besides this, MediFixit is also in talks with other leading diagnostic centres across the country so that it can reach out to maximum population. “So far we have listed 1400 diagnostic centres of Dr Lal PathLabs on MediFixit platform. Rest will soon be listed on the platform”, said Capt Sameer Singh, co-founder, CEO of MediFixit.

The digital health platform will soon launch a slew of features like video consultation services wherein users can consult medicos from their home/office through video. “Users will soon avail various healthcare packages on our platform. For this, we are in talks with diagnostic centres and healthcare facilities. Besides this, we are in talk with medical device companies to bring them on our platform thereby helping people buy medical devices from comfort of their home,” said Capt Singh.

Hyperlocal connectivity will soon be another feature of MediFixit wherein users can avail services of local diagnostic labs, pharmacies, physicians.

MediFixit launched by Healthcare Multimedia Pvt Ltd last year is changing the way people consult medicos and access the healthcare from their homes and offices. As there is an acute shortage of doctors in the country, people in villages, tier II, III cities often find it hard to get quality doctors in their vicinity. At times they have to travel a long distance to get second opinion from a doctor about their treatment. MediFixit fills this vacuum.

MediFixit with a team of 8-9 people integrates doctors’ clinics, hospitals, dentists, home healthcare service providers, ambulance services, delivery of medicine through local chemists, and lab and diagnostic tests via leading providers across the country. Patients do not need to search different websites to access different healthcare services like doctors, path labs, pharmacies etc.

MediFixit can be accessed online at https://www.MediFixit.com/ and can be downloaded as a Mobile App, on both iOS and Android devices.

As of now MediFixit has listed 480 pharmacies, 500 doctors from allopathy, ayurveda, homeopathy etc. It has targeted 25,000 medicos over a period of 5 years. The online platform has also tie-ups with several hospitals and 23 home healthcare service providers across the country.

With MediFixit doctors can also digitize their services. It helps them offer e-consultation, e-prescription to users. “Our platform also stores patients' medical record which can be accessed by doctors and patients any time. We have database of 23,000 medicines. The prescription can also be saved on our platform, which can be accessed by doctors, patients after a decade. The e-prescriptions can be sent to pharmacies by users. Online sale of medicines is not allowed but online prescription is valid”, he added.

Digital healthcare market is US$ 60 billion. By 2021, target is to achieve 5-10 per cent share of the market size, MediFixit CEO concluded.
