The Indian Pharmaceutical Association Tamil Nadu branch (TN IPA) will celebrate the 55th National Pharmacy Week on November 25. Several programs will be held at the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University at 5 PM on November 25. The theme of this year’s celebration is ‘Pharmacists for a Healthy India, Role in Prevention and Management of Diabetes’.
Dr. Muthukumar Subramanian, CEO and chairman of DiaSem will speak on the theme and Dr J Radhakrishnan, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu will attend as chief guest at the function.
Dr S Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University will deliver a special lecture on the subject and S V Veeramani, National President of IDMA and chairman of TN Pharmaceutical Sciences Welfare Trust will give away the awards to the students.
Dr S Manivannan, Deputy Drugs Controller, CDSCO, South Zone, S. Abdul Khader, Director of Drugs Control, Tamil Nadu, Srini Srinivasan, Managing Director, Pfizer – Chennai, J Jayaseelan and M M Yusuf will speak on the occasion.
