Another important aspect of the electronic primary health center (e-health centers) is that the medical staff of these centers will visit every house in the chosen place to offer medical and health services. This would help the medical team identify long-term health problems and diseases of patients and take extra care for future health needs.
The medical staff from these centers will also ensure that the details of all the patients they visited would be computerized and based on their disease profile and prescription by the doctors, medicines would be dispensed to these patients on time.
“Our aim is to transform Telangana into a healthy state and accordingly the state government is giving top priority to health sector. As part of this effort we want to further extend healthcare services in Hyderabad and to other parts of the state and very soon we are planning to set up three super specialty hospitals in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad,” informed the health minister.
Focusing on improving the facilities at the primary healthcare centers in the rural areas, the state government has recently coined the concept of E-Aushadi, wherein a new software is installed at all the hospitals to record the real-time patient details online by uploading their aadhar cards numbers and using the software to manage the medical stocks in the hospitals.
