He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Indian Herbal Pharmacoepia 2003 and also the Advisor to the US Pharmacoepia for India

Mr. Rakesh Bhargava, is Executive Vice President - Region Asia Pacific with Fresenius Kabi Germany, the world leader in the field of fluid therapy and clinical nutrition. He is currently based in Pune, India, and is also Managing Director of Fresenius Kabi India Limited. He was earlier with ICI Pharmaceuticals and Lupin ChemicalsThailand Ltd, and has been in the Pharmaceutical Industry for more than 10 years.
