The biotech hub of India is in high spirits as it is all set to establish its supremacy in the biotech sector with a series of successful conglomerations of biotech companies, titled Bangalore Bio. Promoted by the Government of Karnataka, Bangalore Bio is a perfect platform for the biotech companies to disseminate innovations in products and services, share ground-breaking ideas, explore investments and partnering opportunities, enter into strategic partnerships and exhibit equipment related to biotech and allied industry.
Seventh of its kind, Bangalore Bio 2007 will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Tumkur Road, from June 07 to 09, 2007. Organised under the aegis of Vision Group on Biotechnology, the event will feature conference sessions, business forums and trade exhibition. The organizers expect Bangalore Bio 2007 to draw close to 50 national and international speakers, 1,000 conference delegates, 180 exhibitors and 40,000 business visitors from 20 countries. Bangalore Bio 2006 had witnessed participation of over 72 national and international speakers, 600 conference delegates, 140 exhibitors and 20,000 business visitors from over 15 countries.

Poster tells the story
Just an year old, the poster section of Bangalore Bio, walkway of discovery, going hand in hand with this year's conference theme will highlight posters depicting high degree of innovation, problem solving approach and socio-economic significance of the research, the organizers said.
