The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) will undertake a trade delegation to Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and Argentina in September, this year.
Further, Pharmexcil has finalised a series of trade delegations to various countries under the MDA assistance scheme for the 2006-07 period, following approval from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The council is planning to take delegations to Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore, Myanmar in June, 2006, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Germany in July; Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Argentina in September, Mauritius, Mozambique, South Africa in September; and to Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine in October 2006.
It has also finalized participation in international exhibitions such as Interphex Asia 2006 at Singapore in June; Meena Meditech, Egypt in October; CPHI 2006 at Paris, France in October; Apteka, Moscow, Russia in October and API, China in November, 2006.
Under the recently revised MDA guidelines, companies having export turnover not exceeding Rs. 15 crore are eligible for availing assistance under MDA.
