SGE to foray Bangladesh, Middle East…

The Australia-based chromatography company SGE International Pty Ltd is planning to expand operations across markets like Bangladesh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia & other middle east countries, Myanmar and other South East Asian countries.

SGE Group, which provides technical services in the areas like product installation, maintenance & support, and marketing activities, is a leading manufacturer of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Liquid Chromatographic Mass spectrometry (LCMS) products, which find application in industries like pharmaceuticals, chemical, petroleum, environmental, and perfumeries.

"India serves the dual purpose of having good quality scientific talent along with cost advantage. All the technical and marketing services required in our business across the middle East and Asia will be provided by Indian technicians," said Peter A. Dawes, managing director, SGE Group of companies.

SGE is a leading player in the Indian chromatographic products market and serves major pharma companies like Ranbaxy, Cipla, DRL, Aurobindo and Shantha Biotech. About 33 per cent of the company's total revenue comes from the pharmaceutical industry.
