3-day Clean India'12 to focus on touch-free dispensers & sensor based hygiene solutions
The 3-day Clean India Show, to be held in Bengaluru from December 13 to 15, 2012 will focus on touch-free dispensers and sensor based hygiene solutions as the pharmaceutical industry indicates an enormous potential for cleaning and hygiene products and solutions. The state-of-the-art production units and facilities necessitate 100 per cent maintenance in order to meet the quality and standards.
The consistent over nine per cent growth of Indian pharma industry holds a huge potential for cleaning and hygiene products and solutions. This is why Clean India Show attracts a large of number of pharma industry professionals, J P Nair, managing director, Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd, organizers of Clean India Show, told Pharmabiz in an email interaction.
The three-day Clean India Show, Asia’s largest cleaning trade show, is slated to be held in Bengaluru from December 13 to 15, 2012 at KTPO Grounds at EPIP Area, Whitefield.
“More than 50 per cent of the Indian Pharmaceutical industry including biotech is concentrated in South India. This Show makes a comeback to Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru after six years. The 2006 event showcased commercial and institutional cleaning solutions. But this time there is ample importance given to component cleaning, machine cleaning, CIP systems and other solutions, including floor and manufacturing unit cleaning and maintenance,” he said.
The specific focus on clean technologies for the pharma and healthcare industry would be on touch-free dispensers, sensor based hygiene solutions, feminine hygiene bin and other washroom hygiene products and services by Best Practice Washrooms Pvt Ltd. All these are suitable for hospital washrooms where the chances of cross contamination is much higher. Use of colour-coded wipes, mops, brushes and other cleaning tools made of materials that arrest germs from Gala Brushes, Unger and Kibble Enterprises will be displayed.
Infection control has become a major issue. The onset of deadly diseases like MRSA or hospital acquired infection are largely attributed to unclean surroundings. Only deployment of the right disinfectants, cleaning chemicals, sanitizers and cleaning equipment can control infection and cross contamination. Diversey, Lanxess India, Scheveran Laboratories, Haylide Chemicals and others would showcase products at the Show.
In Pharma, quality control and de-contamination are vital. Using the right equipment after every batch of production process, floor cleaning, indoor air quality and dust control systems would be displayed by Karcher, Eureka Forbes, Menikini, Diversey and Inventa Cleantech.
With the increasing inflow of patients, healthcare providers have realized that traditional modes of sweeping is a thing of the past and are also doing away with noisy vacuum cleaners. There are latest models of power-water saving low noise vacuums, and energy efficient scrubber driers, walk behind scrubber and sweepers that could provide safe and efficient cleaning solutions at the Show, said Nair.
The Clean India Show commenced its operations as a trade expo in 2005 with 20 stalls. The event had 120 exhibitors at the last show and this year too there are over 40 new companies exhibiting over 100 brands, including industrial cleaning equipment, waste management and laundry solutions.
