Clean India Show, Asia’s largest cleaning trade show will kick off from Bengaluru. The three-day Show will be held from December 13 to 15, 2012 at KTPO Grounds, Bengaluru.

The event, organised by the Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd (VIS), will showcase newer technologies and cleaning solutions for hospitals, industries, institutions, municipal corporations, hotels and retail segments. The show is supported by the Karnataka Urban Development Ministry and the Central Pollution Control Board.

The show covering an area of 2246 sq.m will display over 100 brands including industrial cleaning equipment and laundry solutions.

Further, it will focus on total mechanised cleaning solutions for commercial, institutional and industrial segments. There will be cleaning equipment like ride-on sweepers, industrial vacuum cleaners, high pressure jets, carpet cleaning  machines, concrete maintenance machines, scrubber driers etc. Also on display will be waste management solutions, chemicals and hygiene products and cleaning tools.

Initiated in 2005 in Mumbai, what began as a small show with just 20 participants saw the beginning of an era in professional cleaning technology and services. The show turned international in 2007 with the Italian partner AfidampServizisrl joining the show. It is the single largest platform provider, bringing together the Indian Cleaning Industry and the major international cleaning companies under one roof. The show is intended at knowledge sharing and providing avenues for business.

According to J P Nair, managing director, The Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd (VIS), around 40 new companies are participating from various verticals like Equipment/ tools, Chemicals, Facility Management, hygiene solutions, laundry and waste and wastewater treatment.

The show has received an outstanding response and participation from reputed companies from India and abroad like Sealed Air India, Karcher India, Eureka Forbes, CharnockEquipment Pvt Ltd, Pest Control India, Lanxess India Pvt Ltd, Bosch India, 3M India, SuriePolex, TSM India, Best Practices Washroom, InventaCleantechPvt Ltd and others, he added,

There are also seminars covering topics like hospital hygiene, waste recycling technologies, industrial cleaning and building service industry.  Another highlight is that the show is having a separate laundry section for the first time with seminar sessions on laundry. The seminars will be addressed by experts from the respective fields.
