Scientific symposiums by Agilent to showcase latest analytical solutions in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad
Agilent Technologies Inc, a global analytical equipment solutions provider, is all set to host two scientific symposiums at Ahmedabad and Hyderabad on 13th and 20th of June 2018.
According to the spokesperson from Agilent Technologies, the main objective of hosting the symposium is to showcase the latest analytical solutions and it is also expected to feature interactive workshops wherein leading industry speakers will delve on the innovative analytical solutions needed for the industry and the future ahead. During the workshop, the organisers are also expected to showcase Agilent’s latest analytical solutions.
Earlier last year, Agilent Technologies had organised its first edition of the ‘Total Agilent Experience’ in Mumbai. The event turned out to be a very successful one wherein more than 300 leading researchers and scientists from across the country took part in the analytical expo.
Wanting to emulate the same success story, this year again, Agilent Technologies has chosen two different destinations one at Ahmedabad in Gujarat and the second is at Hyderabad in Telangana. As both these destinations are well established pharmaceutical hubs of the country, Agilent Technologies wants to make its presence felt and wants to showcase its technological innovations to the industry players. The Total Agilent Experience offers unparalleled opportunities for scientists and industry leaders to talk about new ways to solve problems and make their laboratories more efficient,” said Bharat Bhardwaj, country manager for Agilent in India.
On display at the two symposiums will be Agilent’s latest chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy platforms, including the Agilent Intuvo 9000 GC system, which features click-and-run connections that eliminate ferrules, guard-chip technology that extends column life, and a trim-free column that eliminates retention time shifts due to trimming.
Another piece of technological innovation by Agilent is its Ultivo Triple Quadrupole LC/MS system, which delivers robust performance, superior uptime, and easier serviceability, in a footprint that is 70% smaller than previous instruments.
A suite of innovative Raman spectroscopy instruments, acquired last year when Agilent bought Cobalt Light Systems, a UK-based developer of innovative technologies for non-invasive, through-barrier chemical analysis for use in pharmaceutical and public-safety applications, is also expected to have its display during the symposia at Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
Using the sophisticated, user-friendly technologies offered by these platforms, scientists are now able to work on a wider range of challenging applications with improved performance and ease of use, while also increasing laboratory productivity and economic value.
"Apart from displaying our innovative products, we will also feature interactive workshops where participants can discuss their thorniest challenges with Agilent experts and other thought leaders in the food, pharma, and applied chemical industries,” Bhardwaj said.
In addition to the symposia a pharma regulatory summit and an analytical summit for applied markets is also expected to be held. During the summit industry experts are expected to share their insights on the emerging trends that are driving adoption of new technologies.
