The Respiratory Drug Delivery (RDD) Europe 2013 will be held from May 21 to 24, 2013 at Berlin, Germany.  The RDD Europe and Aptar Pharma are jointly organising the event.

According to Aptar Pharma, the event will gather around 450 specialists of the nasal and pulmonary drug administration segment, representatives from the pharma industry, regulatory bodies, medical device manufacturers, academics and consultants.  This is a highly scientific show that has always strong attendance and reputation.

The event will have in-depth discussions of many developing issues surrounding aerosol drug delivery including respiratory / cardiopulmonary disease phenotypes and improved diagnostics.  There will be drug delivery technologies - user focused approaches, new drugs and drug targets for aerosol treatment, novel in vitro and in vivo test methods besides regulatory science and practice in a global marketplace.

There will also be scientific poster sessions covering all aspects of regulatory science, formulation development, new research methods and advanced drug delivery technologies.

In the technology exhibition, excipient, device and equipment designers plus component and service suppliers will present their latest developments in a table top format.  The workshop sessions will feature practical and interactive demonstrations of innovative technologies, products and services.
