Reed Exhibitions, one of the largest trade show organizers in the world, has announced the debut of 'Interphex India' from September 13th to 15th, 2007, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

Interphex India will feature a range of companies showcasing products and services required by drug manufacturing facilities, including processing, manufacturing and packaging equipment, and IT software and services. A premier educational conference program will also provide high-level technical education and insight into key business issues. Conference presenters from leading private and public institutions around the world will share their experience, knowledge and expertise in this market, said the organisers.

The organizers said they were in the latter stages of negotiating a partnership with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) to jointly produce the event.

"India is fast emerging as one of the most innovative and rapidly growing global pharmaceutical producers. The exhibition and conference combines the world's leading pharmaceutical trade show brand with one of the world's most fertile and fast-moving pharmaceutical markets, " said the organisers.

The organisers also have launched a free download "A Guide to Doing Business in the Pharmaceutical Industry in India" at website www.interphex.com/india, to help the global pharma industry learn more about the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
