The Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences of the Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute (SRMC- Deemed University) at Porur near Chennai is organizing a conference- Ramachandra Advanced Interventional Neuroradiology (RAIN - 2004), from 3-5, December 2004.

The conference will primarily focus on neuro-interventions, and the teaching sessions includes didactic lectures, live demonstration of cases, interactive discussion, panel discussion and poster presentations, mainly led by three international faculties Dr. Rene Chapot, Limoges, France, Dr. Isabel Wanke, Essen, Germany and Dr. David I. Levy, San Diego, USA besides several eminent national faculty.

About 250-300 delegates, comprising of radiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and technologists from all over India and neighbouring countries would attend the conference, informed Dr Santhosh Joseph, organizing secretary of RAIN 2004.

He said SRMC decided to conduct RAIN 2004 following the stupendous success of Rain 2003, held last year.
