Pharmexcil in association with Ministries of Commerce, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Health and External Affairs will be conducting a 3-day 'India-LAC International Pharma Conference' at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on 6th-8th March 2007.
Issues related to, Indian pharma industry and its key strengths, drug regulatory systems in India, drug registration requirements of LAC countries, bilateral collaboration with LAC countries and status of pharma markets in LAC countries will be discussed during the conference, a press release of Pharmexcil said. The conference will also conduct interactive meeting with drug regulatory authorities of India and LAC Countries, along with exhibition.
The success of India-Africa, GCC and Asean Pharma conference held in December 2005 and India-CIS International Pharma Conference held in March 2006 encouraged the Pharmexcil to conduct such conference again, involving importers/Drug Regulatory authorities from LAC countries, the release further stated.
Importers, buyers/distributors, associations, Drug Regulatory officials, government agencies and others from Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Dominic Republic, Haiti, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana, Bolivia, and Panama are excepted to attend the conference.
