The Ahmedabad based exporter of pharmaceutical raw material, finished formulations and chemicals, 7Chemical has entered into the strategic distribution alliance with Ferring of France for the distributing contraceptive pills in the Russia and CIS countries. The company finalised US$4 million deal recently.

As per the agreement between two countries 7Chemiclas will distribute contraceptive pills like misoprestol in the Russia and CIS countries. Rakesh Ohri, managing director, said, "The company has also signed deal with Canadian partners NAD Supplements Inc., Kahnawake (Quebec), Canada, J0L-1B0 for the packing herbal preparation in Canada, which would give additional boost to 7Chemicals' revenue by another dollar three millions in the Canadian market".

As Pharmabiz has reported earlier that, the company has entered into a joint venture with the Canada-based NAD Supplements Inc. for supplying bulk drugs in Canada. The company has also plans to set up 10 pharmacies for natural herbal products in Canada under a JV. The deal with the Canadian firm is for supplying and packing soft gel capsule of vitamins. It will supply bulk capsules of soft gel of co-enzyme 10, fish oil, cord liver oil and garlic pearls, which will be packed by 7Chemicals itself, finally in Canada. The company has already commenced commercial operations under the JV.

Recently, 7Chemicals has opened its new pharmacy, Nature Alternate Health Food, in Canada to sell natural herbal products. The company is planning to set up a total of 10 pharmacies in Canada within this year, one each in Montreal, Brampton, Mississauga, Petersburg and Hamilton, further added Ohri.

7Chemicals has marketing offices in Moscow, Georgia and Azerbaijan, Armenia, Chile, Philippines and South Africa and exports products to 45 countries.
