Abbott India has posted significant growth in top line and bottom line during the second quarter ended September 2014 and its net profit went up by 41.1 per cent to Rs. 63.74 crore from Rs. 45.19 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Its EBDITA also moved up by 38.4 per cent to Rs. 100.22 crore from Rs. 72.44 crore. The company's net sales increased by 29.8 per cent to Rs. 577 crore from Rs. 445 crore. Earnings per share moved up to Rs. 30 from Rs. 21.27 in the last period.
For the first half ended September 2014, Abbott's net sales increased by 25.2 per cent to Rs. 1,094 crore from Rs. 874 crore in the similar period of last year. Its net profit touched to Rs. 115 crore as against Rs. 75 crore, a growth of 53.3 per cent. Its EBDITA grew by 47.9 per cent to Rs. 172 crore from Rs. 122 crore.
