The department of hospital administration of Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) will hold a national seminar on health-care facility planning on August 8 and 9, 2003 to evolve outlines for planning parameters for modern hospitals.
According to Colonel Dayananda, chairperson of the event, the seminar will focus on emerging trends, new concepts and practices, and integrate them with planning concepts. Lt. Gen. B.N. Shahi, director-general, armed forces medical services, will be the chief guest.
Other experts include AIIMS director P.K. Dave, city-based K.H. Sancheti, Ramakant Panda of the Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai and Y.P. Bhatia, director (administration), Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute.
